BerryStore Selected as Finalist for 'Customized Technology Partner Support' Project to Enhance SME R&D Capacity Global donation and fandom platform BerryStore has been selected for the 'Customized Technology Partner Support' category of the 2023 SME R&D Capacity Enhancement Project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. According to officials, Hansung University Engineering Consulting Center will participate as a technical partner alongside Berry Store, and the signing ceremony will be held on May 9, 2023, at KT Talent Development Center in Daejeon. The project was designed by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to solve technical difficulties and enhance R&D capabilities by using technical experts from the Engineering Consulting Center for small and medium-sized enterprises that lack technical manpower, and will be supported with about 100 projects worth 3 billion won. Through this project, in addition to the "celebrity talent and item matching sales system" for which it has applied for a patent, Berry Store expects to strengthen its technological capabilities for social network services that allow fans and celebrities to coexist online, provide quality content to users in the app through offline meetings and concerts, and secure additional intellectual property as an integrated service platform for K-culture fandom online and offline. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups plans to support research and development expenses for the purpose of resolving technical difficulties and enhancing R&D capabilities of BerryStore. "In connection with the fandom platform business operated by BerryStore, we will further accelerate the global spread of K-culture as a global donation/fandom platform BerryStore by strengthening our capabilities in social network services that focus on building relationships with specific celebrities and fans in the app," said an official from BerryStore.
